Lotons acquired by RGIS, world's largest inventory company
JAN 2007

Lotons Inventory Services, with stocktaking operations across Australia, New Zealand and recently Singapore, has been acquired by the world's largest inventory and retail services company, RGIS International Holdings LLC, headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, USA.

RGIS has been in business for almost 50 years and like Lotons provides inventory and retail services. RGIS currently serves customers in North America, Latin America and Europe. See rgisinv.com for more information.

This deal will give Lotons, the oldest and largest professional stocktaking company in Australasia the support and resources that will be far ahead of any competitor in the Asia Pacific region. Likewise, it will give RGIS a stepping-stone into the South East Asian region.

The next few years are expected to see swift growth as new offices are opened, new services and equipment are introduced and RGIS' international clients begin to utilise the regional services.

The current management of Lotons will remain with Greg Schooneveldt taking on the role of President – South East Asia, Mark Yates will be New Zealand Director, Richard Cauchi becomes Business Development Manager and James Bell fills the position of Operations Manager – Australia. Xudong Cao remains IT Manager.

Lotons believe this is an exciting opportunity for the company and staff and is looking forward to the future as a part of RGIS' global network.
